This book features stories of rather twitty twinnies growing up on a farm amidst animals, ballet practises, much older siblings, a very involved Mother and a very farmy Father. Supporting the stories are sketches and photographs. The purposefully unresolved sketches are a mix of child hood memoirs and fantasies, a long with ideas for sculptures and ceramics. This book was launched at my show Twinny, Whitespace, Auckland, November 2014.

In 2005 I completed my BFA Honours in Design at the University of Canterbury.
This book is the result of my years work.
It is an illustrated 11,000 word essay: Adopting a poetic research methodology, this essay is a subjective conversation questioning Design’s abilities, as a discipline steeped in modernist ideals, to survive and creatively evolve through the wonderland of the 20th century. This journey is described through the allegorical lens of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.
